University officials met with the delegation of New Zealand university

The high rank officials of the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS) met a high rank delegation from some Newzealand university on 11 April, 2016. In this meeting ,Professor Kay Weaver, Dean school of Graduate Research of University of Waikato, Professor Peter Whiteford, Dean of Graduate Research of Victoria University of Wellington, Professor Rachel Spronken-Smith,Dean of Graduate Research School of University of Otago, John Tookey, Head of Department of Built Environment Engineering of Auckland University of Technology, Dr Mehdi Shahbazpour, Director of Master of Engineering Management Programme of University of Auckland, Mr. Mohammed Komal, Regional Manager – MENA of University of Waikato, Mr. John Laxon, Regional Director Middle East for Education New Zealand, Mr.Sadegh Hedayat , Financial Advisor of Newzealand Ambassy, and Ms. Sara Mackey , deputy Ambassador of Newzealand were present.
In this meeting the, ways of making constructive bilateral cooperation between SBUMS and Newzealand Universities regarding academic staff exchange, shared scientific projects, clinical cooperation, and technology management were discussed.
At the end of this meeting, both sides reached an agreement to prepare a draft of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as the first step to start cooperation which could be implemented after finalization.
